Armchair in solid wood covered with polyurethane foam. Chrome-plated tubular steel base.

This armchair appears in the Living Room of the apartment of Madame Mathieu Lévy on rue de Lota, Paris (see model 423). Eileen Gray jokingly called this chair the “Bibendum” after the famous  Michelin tire publicity figure.
