Lounge chair in wood painted glossy black or glossy white and chrome-plated brass parts. Padded cushion. Leather or synthetic leather cover.

This armchair was used by Eileen Gray in the living room of E-1027. This rather complicated design was patented by Eileen Gray and Jean Badovici in 1927. The designers called the chair the “Transat” which was short for “Transatlantic”.
